From paper documents to real transactions

However, excessively high costs and limited manufacturing capacity were two barriers to functioning in the mass market. At the same time, there were manufacturers in Russia that were losing money even though they could produce 20 times as much at a low cost. Meatco took up a business in the Mari El Republic of Russia in 2021.
Hunter, farmer, closer

The corporate department at Meatco is also structured uniquely. There are three categories of employees working in the department. The first level consists of ‘hunters’, those who seek out clients. These employees go to construction sites and engage in cold sales. A hunter is an extrovert who must always be on the move and communicate with others. The second level consists of ‘farmers’, who are more introverted. They process requests that come from the hunters.
Their task is to process the order and translate it into the language of production. Farmers create Sales Orders in kaladana, then create Purchase orders, and place Production Orders. The farmers are also divided. Some prepare Proposals, others place orders at the factories, and a third group accepts and processes orders on behalf of the factory.
The “closer” shows up when the product is ready. They take orders and work on the site, installing, organizing, and signing paperwork. The installation crew is led by the closer. The hunter is in charge of the customer interactions in the office, the closer is in charge of the building site, and the farmer serves as the intermediary. All three categories’ compensation are based on the company’s revenue. Ten percent of the net proceeds goes to the hunter. If the farmer and closer reach their goals, they obtain bonuses from the net profit in addition to their wage.
