Compassion
When you don’t eat or drink anything during the day, your body experiences what the impoverished and hungry go through. Thus, religious acts instill societal responsibility in people’s consciences.
Character building
Fasting prohibits antisocial behavior. Backbiting, using bad language, speaking lies, losing one’s temper, etc. Perhaps the most practical advantage is the annual lesson in self-control, patience, and discipline, which may be applied to other areas of a Muslim’s life such as job and school. Abstinence from food is merely one step toward making a man realize that if he can abstain from what is normally lawful in response to Divine injunctions, how much more important it is that he abstain from what is evil and tempting.
Not eating and drinking

According to health research, fasting is the most effective of all restorative procedures. It allows you to get rid of toxins that may have collected in your body; it purifies the bloodstream and rejuvenates the overall system. Fasting purifies and cleanses the body while also increasing the body’s vital power by removing harmful material that might weaken the nerves and cells of the various organs.
Strength reduce

Missing a few meals does not equal starving. Scientists have long demonstrated that food energy is not instantly available, but rather is stored in and on the body for eventual use.
Fast

Fasting is required for individuals who are mentally and physically fit, beyond the age of puberty, in a stable environment (not traveling), and are confident that fasting will not bring serious physical or mental harm.
